Print Promotion

These pole wraps were designed for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club and prominently featured at the 2022 D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA. Large scale print projects like these can be a challenge when tackling large files sizes, color matching, and anticipating placement in the real world. Coordinating with key stakeholders was essential to ensure proper QR code tracking, finalized copy, and hitting print deadlines.

Branding Style Guide

KCRW is LA's #1 Public Radio station. Pledge drives are essential to keeping their programming and events free to the public. This branding guide was created for KCRW's 2019 drive. Every drive features a fresh new design to remind listeners to donate and become a member! Click through above or download PDF here.

Culture Icon Design

Icon design is an exercise in recognizable simplicity. An effective icon will add helpful context to headers, buttons, and forms. Less is always more with an icon so it’s important to start small and stop when your icon "screams" your keyword (music, shopping, messages, etc).

These music, news, and culture icons start from an isometric base and use black solids to create depth and volume. I paired these icons with overlapping colors to add a little organic contrast.

Digital Giveaways

This campaign for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club celebrated Valentine's Day with digital phone backgrounds featuring some of Disney’s favorite couples. The candy heart motif was carried through email newsletters that promoted free digital Valentine's Day cards, wallpapers and website content.

Public Radio Pattern

This pattern was designed with a West Coast vibes for SoCal public radio listeners. Featuring iconography from microphones, food carts, sunshine, and more - this pattern pops with excitement and possibility.

Agency Icon Design

Custom icon set designed for internet marketing agency specializing in SEO, Design, Development, and Support.

Promotional Marketing

This campaign for D23: The Official Disney Fan Club was created to promote a free movie ticket giveaway. To remain inclusive during the winter holiday season - snow flakes, presents, and an assortment of holiday colors were used to deliver a festive feel. The overall design was adapted for web, social, and E-mail newsletters.

Promotional Animation

This concept featuring Ted Lasso as a garden toy was create in After Effects, Illustrator, and Procreate. Ted was designed with vector art in Adobe Illustrator while the garden background was drawn with the Apple Pencil in Procreate. All elements were brought into After Effects for final compositing.

Podcast Art

Podcast art I've designed featuring KCRW's Left, Right & Center, Pan Caliente, Art Talk, The Document, Second Opinion, The Legal Eagle Files, Today's Top Tune, and Opening The Curtain.

Holiday Merch Illustrations

When it snows in Southern California... These Illustrations were created to promote KCRW'S end of year pledge drive. Each drive features new station merchandise as a thank you gift for new a renewing members.

This campaign features and multicultural cast to reflect the diversity of Los Angles and the listening audience. Get your mug, hoodie, or holiday candle today!

Event Branding

Event branding is something I’ve routinely done for LA’s #1 public radio station, KCRW. Renowned for its music and news programming, KCRW also brings all-star (and often free) events to Los Angeles year-round. KCRW’s Good Food Pie Contest is no exception featuring an afternoon of pie tasting, baking demos, kids activities and more.

The branding I created for this event features a "Mardi Gras" influenced logo design inspired by a special "New Orleans" pie category. In this design you can see subtle pie decoration patterns in the background, familiar carnival colors, and energetic "jazzy" letters. It’s important to start projects like these with the expectation that your design will be utilized many ways (signage, screen-prints, identification, and more).

Character Illustration

Character Illustration is a great way to engage your audience. Organic shapes and faces are instant "eye-catchers" perfect for livening up rigid designs (and cake).

These characters were part of KCRW’s "Join Our Community" pledge drive. Combining playful characters, powerful text, and soothing colors, this campaign helped KCRW reach it's goal of raising $1 million dollars for its radio station.
