November 19, 2010 "Aha! A Decoy!" (Click to Expand)

Novel Concept would first like to make a public apology regarding the abrupt rescheduling of its research experiments. This was due to factors outside of the company's control and is being handled accordingly. Those who had already scheduled research times with Novel Concept will be given first priority to reschedule for Monday or Tuesday, the 22nd and 23rd. Novel Concept is willing to work around participants' schedules. Anyone who is interested in helping the company with its research is advised to email the company at NovelCencept411@gmail.com to set up a research time. Also, check the website soon for general testing times for those two dates. The company is offering both stock and cogent to all its participants, as well as refreshments, in an attempt to remedy this error.

In other news, the first full motion prototype has been completed and the team has entered the final development stage. Now that the baseline coding has been created for each interactive element, the developers can now begin to refine and add to each element to make it more exciting. The company has caught wind of another Sherlock Holmes app in the preliminary stages, and hopes to quickly increase opportunities for user input to its own application and be first to market. Though the company has experienced an unexpected hiccup in its research plan, the delay is minor enough that the company is able to stay close to its projected calendar from the beginning of the semester. They have secured a meeting time with the Statistics Consulting Center in order to shorten the data analysis stage of their research and lessen the impact of the setback.

Novel Concept will be making its final presentation at 2pm on December 2nd in Stewart Center room 314. Be sure to visit the third floor of Knoy Hall of Technology to check out the company display easel and take one of the presentation reminder cards. Be sure to check the company website frequently until then as different teasers are sure to appear. The company is excited to present its product, and its team members have already begun practicing in anticipation of the event. The team invites other companies to form a presentation symposium of sorts to allow each company the opportunity to gain peer input for their final product presentations and research papers.
